The start point for the best source of fleet information

Awards 2010 - Windscreens: Autoglass

Date: 26 January 2010

We're now one year away from a decade of victories for Autoglass in this category, making it one of the longest-held of our BusinessCar Awards.

Like many of our award winners, Autoglass identified a focus on customer service as one of the key reasons it has been voted into the top spot by BusinessCar readers.

Autoglass introduced a renewed focus on service earlier this year, and chief executive Nigel Doggett believes this is crucial to fleets' opinion of his company, as business drivers in particular want any problems sorted with just one phone call or online booking.

Doggett said Autoglass's focus on pushing repairs to chipped or cracked screens is also paying dividends, and claims his company leads the market in terms of keeping costs down for fleet operators.

He is also confident about Autoglass's ability to win a 10th award next year, thanks to its consistency of service and brand in a time when rivals have been bought and sold or rebranded. And while the first priority is to look after the corporate business already held, Doggett said Autoglass has the capacity and infrastructure to cope with further contract wins.
