Tourick gains professorship

Date: 03 December 2008

Colin Tourick

Fleet management expert Colin Tourick has been appointed as a Professor of The University of Buckingham.

Tourick will take the role of Visiting Professor of the Centre for Automotive Management in the university's business school. The role is part time initially, with Tourick involved in development of the university's programmes and in its international consultancy work.

Tourick has more than 30 years experience in the leasing industry, and recently wrote the book Managing your company cars in nine easy steps.

On the appointment, he said: "I see this appointment as a great tribute to growing importance of the leasing and fleet management sector. This industry spends nearly £16bn a year in the UK alone."
