Hyundai sketches out Santa Fe plans

Date: 29 March 2012   |   Author:

Rapidly growing fleet brand Hyundai is to continue its product offensive later this year with the arrival of the new Santa Fe off-roader.

Due to arrive in the autumn, the look of the seven-Seat Santa Fe is revealed in this official sketch ahead of the car's official unveiling at the New York motor show next month.

The third-generation Santa Fe will join the well-received new i40 upper medium and i30 lower medium models launched recently, and Hyundai said its core targets are refinement, smartness and practicality.

More details will emerge closer to launch, with a big improvement expected on the current car's best of 176g/km and 41.5mpg from the 194hp 2.2 diesel.
