Mini has revealed an all-new version of its supermini hatchback. The third generation of the 'new' Mini will be priced from £15,300 when it goes on sale in spring 2014.

Longer, wider and taller than before, the new car will also be more efficient thanks to a range of three new engines: a 114hp 1.5-litre diesel capable of 80.7mpg and emitting 98g/km, a 134hp 1.5-litre petrol, and a 189hp 2.0-litre petrol engine for the Cooper S model.

Mini also claims the car will carry a host of technologies normally associated with larger vehicles including connected services and head-up display.
