Jaguar is launching a revised version of its XF 2.2-litre diesel engine for the 2014 model year, making it a more compelling option for fleets.
The 163hp saloon and Sportbrake estate will offer 129g/km CO2 and 57.7mpg.
The Eco2 engine comes with an eight-speed gearbox and stop/start system that uses a twin-solenoid starter to shut down the engine when the car stops, helping to reduce emissions and improve fuel economy.
Jeremy Hicks, Jaguar Land Rover managing director said: “The 2014 XF with this revised engine calibration opens up the unique Jaguar ownership experience to a whole new segment.
“Cost-conscious drivers, business users and fleet managers will be able to enjoy the refinement, luxury and seductive design of a Jaguar while benefiting from its low emissions and high fuel efficiency.”
