Volkswagen Group tyre deal for ATS Euromaster

Date: 19 April 2013   |   Author: Rachel Burgess

Volkswagen Group Leasing has signed a deal with ATS Euromaster to fit and service tyres across its fleet. The move followed a tender process after VGL's contract with its previous supplier, National Tyres, expired.

VGL has also recently chosen Michelin as its preferred tyre manufacturer, with both two-year contracts covering more than 40,000 cars and vans. The fleet also includes cars supplied to Volkswagen Financial Services' employees.

The change in supplier means that VGL customers have access to a larger network of more than 350 centres nationwide, according to ATS Euromaster.

It also operates approximately 900 service vans, which can be pre-booked to fit tyres at a customer's home or place of work.

Martin Phillips, head of fleet operations at VGL, said: "We considered a range of service providers during the tender process, before selecting ATS Euromaster on the back of its impressive experience within the fleet sector and clear commitment to provide expert and honest service to customers."

Customers seeking replacement tyres can continue to call the same contact number, which is now automatically redirected to ATS Euromaster.
