ACFO seeks board addition as Jenner steps down

Date: 21 October 2014

Car fleet operators association ACFO is looking for a new addition to its board, after long-standing board member and former chairman Julie Jenner stepped down last week, following a promotion within GE Capital
that sees her take on a new Europe-wide role and away from day-to-day UK fleet operation.

The ACFO board was meeting as BusinessCar went to press, with a decision likely to be swift on its course of action.

"If the board agree, I would like to co-op someone onto the board until the next AGM," said ACFO chairman John Pryor. "Knowing what we want to do and the time and effort it takes, we need more help and can't continue until the next AGM with a board of just five. If it were a couple of months away we could get by, but not at this particular stage." ACFO's AGM will be held in early summer 2015.

"We are clearly upset that Julie's resigning - it's like losing the 'A' of ACFO," continued Pryor. "She has incredible knowledge."
