Budget 2014: £200m approved for pothole repairs

Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne ahs announced £200m of funding to repair potholes on the UK's roads as part of the 2014 Budget today (19 March). 

He cited lobbyng for by the MP for Northamptpon North and said: "I am making £200m available [to repair potholes on the roads], which local authorities can bid for.

"I trust Northampton will make an application."
