Hyundai launches online service booking facility

Date: 23 July 2014   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Hyundai has launched a new online service booking facility across its UK dealer and repair network, allowing customers to make a booking for a routine service or repair.

The system uses registration number recognition software, which aims to minimise data input by customers, who are ale to select date and time slots once logged in.

The booking system underwent what the company described as "extensive" testing over a month-long period, before it was launched earlier this month.

Hyundai has confirmed the system is set up for both fleet and retail drivers, subject to servicing agreements within business car operators' contracts if they lease their vehicles.

Cars up to 10 years old are able to be booked into any one of the 178 UK dealers.

"The introduction of our online booking facility is just another of the many qualitative enhancements we are making to maximise customer satisfaction across the Hyundai dealer network", said Hyundai chief executive Tony Whitehorn.
