Regus extends deal with Roadchef to open 12 new centres

Date: 22 July 2014   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

12 new Regus centres will open across the UK

Workspace provider Regus has extended its deal with motorway service area provider Roadchef to open 12 new business centres at motorway service station areas across the UK.

Regus plans to open 'at least' four centres this year, including Watford Gap South on the M1, Strenstham North on the M5. Sandbach South on the M6 and Norton Canes on the M6 toll road.

The new centres will include dedicated workstations, seats with laptop stands, phone chargers and wi-fi, allowing business users to hold meetings at mutually convenient location. Their first express centre opened at the Clacket Lane service area six years ago.

Regus has 300 business centres in the UK, and its express lounges can also be found in airports and shopping centres including Heathrow and Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield.

"Extending the Regus Express network across 12 of Roadchef locations is an exciting development for us, and one which reflects rapidly evolving corporate attitudes towards the workplace", said Phil Kemp, global managing director of Regus.

"Business users will no longer have to contend with other users of the motorway service area while they are trying to work and groups can meet comfortably on the motorway, reducing congestion and unnecessary journeys. We look forward to seeing the network grow," added Simon Turl, CEO of Roadchef.
