Alphabet partners with driver licence checking service Licence Bureau

Date: 06 March 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Top-three BC50 leasing company Alphabet has partnered with driver licence compliance company Licence Bureau as part of its risk management service.

The firm will be using Licence Bureau's online compliance managed services portal giving them access to a range of  compliance and licence-checking tools, including driving licence verifications, right to work checks and MOT/roadworthiness verifications.

The system monitors fleets of drivers, alerting managers of any risks. It also provides an auditable health and safety trail. Licence Bureau said the trail would help Alphabet's fleets adhere to any duty of care obligations.

"Licence Bureau shares the same vision as Alphabet when it comes to helping fleets meet their duty of care and compliance requirements," said Diarmuid Fahy, Alphabet's fleet risk services manager.

"We identified Licence Bureau as the most forward thinking provider, who sets the agenda for compliance across the entire fleet industry. Working together with Malcolm Maycock and the Licence Bureau team, we believe we can have a major impact on helping our customers continue to raise their standards in licence checking and compliance," said Fahy.
