BCA site 'fully open' after fatal plane crash

Date: 03 August 2015   |   Author:

BCA has confirmed that its Blackbushe auction site will be "fully open and operational" today after the tragic accident on Friday where a light aircraft crashed into the site after failing to land at the neighbouring Blackbushe Airport.

All four people on board were killed when the Phenom 300 jet ploughed into a car park at the auction giant's site and burst into flames last Friday. Nobody on the ground was injured, and reports indicate three members of the Bin Laden family were on-board, along with the pilot.

Around 30 vehicles were damaged in the accident and BCA said it is "currently liaising with those customers affected", though it wouldn't reveal whether the vehicles were awaiting sale or had been purchased.
