Hyundai has revealed a facelifted version of its ix20 MPV at the Geneva motor show. Pricing and on-sale infomation have yet to be revealed.

The most efficient ix20 model is likely to be the 1.4-litre 77hp diesel unit. A more powerful 90hp version will also be offered, while the firm's 1.6-litre oil burner will also be available with two power output options - 115hp and 128hp.

MPG and CO2 figures have not been revealed yet, but currently the most efficient model is the 1.6-litre 115hp unit. It emits 117g/km of CO2.

Petrol-wise, the revised ix20 is powered by a 90hp 1.4-litre unit and a 125hp 1.6-litre engine. Hyundai said all engines have been improved to offer improved drivability and fuel economy.

Styling tweaks include a new grille, LED rear lights and a new wheel cover design for the 15-inch wheels, while inside the ix20 features a new generation audio system with iPod, Bluetooth, USB and Aux connectivity.

"The ix20 retains the versatility and roominess of the original model, while refreshing its design and adding technological enhancements, increasing appeal to a wider range of buyers in Europe," said Raf van Nuffel, head of product management at Hyundai.
