Glass's appoints Robert Redman as forecast editor

Date: 10 June 2015   |   Author:

Robert Redman has been appointed as the second forecast editor at Glass's.

Redman reports to chief car editor Steve Jackson and he will be responsible for forecasting Glass's future car values across the market. Redman will work alongside current forecast editor Andy Cutler.

Redman has been involved in the motor industry for almost 30 years, most recently as passenger car risk Specialist in the residual value and portfolio department at Mercedes-Benz UK.

He has also held roles at Leasedrive, Masterlease, Vauxhall Masterhire and Rybrook Jaguar, GE Fleet Services - and has also worked as a specialist classic car restorer.

Pontin, head of valuations at Glass's, said: "It takes the 'right stuff' to become part of the editorial team at Glass's and Robert is very much the kind of person we like to be able to recruit.

"In the last year, we have been quietly overhauling our car team and today I am confident that we have the largest, most accurate and most knowledgeable valuation and forecasting team in the UK motor industry."
