Hoover Candy to take on 150 Vauxhall Vivaros by 2017 in new fleet deal

Date: 04 August 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Domestic appliance company Hoover Candy is to add 150 Vivaro vans to its fleet between now and 2017.

The firm originally took 36 vehicles a year ago, and Hoover Candy said it intends to run an all-Vauxhall van fleet by 2017.

Hoover Candy has ordered the L1HI variant of the Vivaro with the 1.6-litre 120hp diesel engine and rear parking sensors, internal racking and the Hoover Candy livery will be fitted to each model ahead of delivery.

The vans will be used by the firm's service engineers to carry out maintenance work and appliance services.

"Since adding the initial 36 Vivaros to our fleet last year, we have been able to see how well they perform in real-world conditions for our operations," said Neil Parsons, fleet operations manager at Hoover Candy. "Not only have the vehicles really impressed us, but so have the high levels of service provided by the Vauxhall team."
