The start point for the best source of fleet information

Mazda 3 gains 99g/km diesel

Date: 26 November 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Mazda has added its 105hp 1.5-litre diesel engine to its 3 model, meaning it now emits less than 100g/km of CO2 for the first time.

The engine - which first appeared in the 2 and CX-3 models - emits 99g/km of CO2 in the 3 and returns 74.3mpg, placing it in the 17% BIK tax bracket.

Available across all trim levels in hatch and saloon, the 1.5-litre 3 is available from £18,895.  It goes on sale on 1 December.

"I am confident that the addition of the Mazda 3 1.5-litre diesel derivative to Mazda's already extensive corporate vehicle choice list will enhance our fleet appeal even further," said Steve Tomlinson, head of fleet at Mazda UK.
