Tesla opens 20th supercharger in UK.

Date: 30 January 2015   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Tesla has opened its 20th supercharger in the UK.

The electric car maker opened three new superchargers today (30 January). The new superchargers are available at Sainsbury's supermarkets in Winchester, Exeter and Bristol.

The Tesla supercharger network now spans 20 stations in the UK, from Exeter to Edinburgh. The American electric car maker said it plans full UK and Ireland Supercharger coverage by the end of 2016.

Tesla allows its customers to charge their cars for free, for life as part of its offering and they can charge their Model S luxury saloon from a 0 to 170 mile range in 30 minutes.
