Date: 18 November 2016   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Ford is supplying 550 new Ford Galaxys to minicab company Addison Lee as part of a new fleet deal.

The new cars will boost the company's fleet to more than 4,500 vehicles.

Finished in the Zetec trim level, the models are powered by the company's 2.0-litre diesel engine, which emits 139g/km of CO2, and will be equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The exterior of the cars are painted in a black shade and the interior features Ford's Sync connectivity system with an eight-inch touchscreen, parking sensors, and an automatic emergency braking system.

"Addison Lee is trusted by its customers to provide an exceptional service, delivered at scale, through innovative technology and great people. Our customers appreciate the ride quality and space afforded by the Galaxy and we are proud to use the cleanest seven-seater in its category," said Catherine Faiers, chief operating officer at Addison Lee.
