Nissan has revealed an image of its NV300 medium van ahead of its debut at the Hannover motor show in September.

The new vehicle will sit between the NV200 and NV400 vans in the Nissan line-up says the and is the long-awaited successor to the Primastar van.

Nissan said that further details of the vehicle's engine line-up, load capacity and pricing information will be revealed at Hannover, although the Japanese marque confirmed it will fitted with a five-year/100,000 mile warranty.

The NV300 is a Nissan-badged version of the Renault Trafic and will be built at the French manufacturer's plant in North-West France where it will boost production by 100,000 units between 2016 and 2026.

Renault produces engines for the Trafic, NV300 and the Vauxhall/Opel Vivaro at its plant in Normandy.
