The start point for the best source of fleet information

Skoda unveils Kodaq SUV interior

Date: 31 August 2016   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Skoda has revealed the interior of its forthcoming Kodiaq ahead of the SUV's unveiling later this week.

The Czech car maker claims the new vehicle has the largest boot in its class (720 litres rear seats up and 2065 seats down) and confirmed the model will be available as a seven-seater.

Skoda claims the interior of the vehicle is "elegantly designed and uncluttered" thanks to it being divided in two for the driver and front passenger, while the firm said its touchscreen will be "logical and intuitive" to use.

The Kodiaq is set to be revealed on Thursday ahead of its public debut at the Paris motor show next month and it is due to go on sale in the first quarter of 2017.

Skoda revealed a concept car that hinted at the Kodiaq at the Geneva motor show earlier this year. Called the VisionS, the concept was powered by a petrol-electric plug-in hybrid powertrain with Skoda quoting 45g/km of CO2, so it is likely this unit will feature in the production model.
