Subaru updates XV crossover for 2016

Date: 08 February 2016   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Subaru has revealed changes to its XV crossover aimed at boosting refinement, interior quality and cutting running costs.

The upgraded model is on sale now, with prices remaining the same, starting at £21,995.

Both engines - a 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel - offer improved fuel efficiency over the outgoing models. Emissions for the detail falls from 146g/km of CO2 to 141g/km, dropping from the 27% BIK bracket to the 26% band.

The manaul petrol variants, meanwhile, receive a 2% fuel consumption boost, returning 43.5mpg.

The Japanese car maker has also redesigned the front grille and bumper, while the rear of the car now features a discrete spoiler.

Inside, the firm has fitted its seven-inch touchscreen navigation and media system as standard, plus an extra USB socket for the front passenger.
