ADESA aims to speed up remarketing process with new app

US remarketing company ADESA has launched a mobile platform for the UK, which it has claimed will offer a reliable stream of vehicles to dealers on a daily basis.

The UK arm of ADESA has a partnership with leasing company Arval and a relationship with Motability Operations.

It is claimed the 'upstream remarketing' mobile app - which can allow the remarketing process to begin before the vehicle is fully defleeted - allows vendors to appraise and upload vehicles for sale within minutes, with buyers taking part in daily online auctions.

"ADESA's ability to offer these used cars gives dealers a first opportunity to access a rich mix of quality stock to meet customer demand. Our model is a proven and credible alternative to more traditional remarketing channels and provides buyers with a cost-effective, convenient and efficient solution," said Jonathan Holland, managing director of ADESA in the UK.
