The start point for the best source of fleet information

Arval launches discussion forum

Date: 13 September 2017   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Vehicle leasing company Arval has launched an online community designed to encourage customers to interact and engage with staff members.

Called My Arval Community, the online platform went live earlier this month and the leasing company claims customers "have been quick to get involved".

The forum is not staffed 24 hours a day and is not intended to be a replacement for the support channels offered by the firm. However, it will allow customers to discuss issues with Arval directly as well as with fellow fleet managers.

Arval said the forum "becomes an important part of Arval's wider customer engagement programme", which includes events, roadshows and communications programmes.

Key features within the forum include:

Quick Polls - where members can quickly provide a view on a topical subject and instantly see how the rest of the community have voted

Discussions - a place for members to join discussions on a range of current fleet-related subjects, sharing their views, concerns, challenges and successes with their peers within the community

Studies - this is where Arval asks its customers for in-depth feedback on topics ranging from new product development and existing processes, through to burning issues impacting the fleet industry. The combined output is then collated and shared with the community.

"The future success of our business is built on our ability to effectively engage with our customers," said Andy Fuller, corporate sales director at Arval. "The decisions we make and the products and services we develop should always be underpinned by customer feedback and we believe that My Arval Community is a great way of doing this."

He added: "It's still a new platform for Arval in the UK but the early signs are good and we have been really pleased with the levels of customer engagement since the launch earlier this month."
