FCA appoints agency to increase fleet presence

Date: 23 March 2017   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' fleet arm has appointed sales support agency ROI to help increase its foothold in the corporate market.

ROI will support the group with a 30-strong sales team, including field sales managers, dealer coaches - to help them better understand fleets' needs - and a business centre.

FCA said the appointment of the agency is part of a major investment to expand and develop Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Fiat Professional and Jeep's corporate offerings.

ROI will focus on day-to-day sales activities and growing volumes, allowing FCA's fleet chiefs to focus on developing relationships and improving the customer experience.

The agency was chosen thanks to its suite of fleet software, including a mobile sales tool, a helpdesk tool and a lead management system for FCA and its partner leasing companies, the Italian group said.

"With the recent addition of new products like the Fullback pick-up, Talento van, Fiat Tipo and Alfa Romeo Giulia, we now represent one of the broadest and most desirable product ranges in the marketplace," said Francis Bleasdale, fleet and remarketing director at FCA UK. "Our continued investment in our fleet services and the appointment of ROI is part of our strategy to make us the best in the industry and to ensure we become a manufacturer of choice for fleet operators and company car drivers."
