Davis, developed by UK company Licence Check, has launched a new Driver Risk Assessor solution designed to help fleet managers better manage occupational road risk.
The Driver Risk Assessor features an online profiling solution that analyses attitude and behaviour, enabling 'at risk' drivers to be quickly identified. It assesses road knowledge, observation, hazard perception, distance following, reaction and safe driving policy knowledge via a 20-30-minute web-based survey and analysis. The risk score is logged against a driver profile, which is further enhanced by incorporating Davis Licence Check results.
"We have created this cost-effective online profiling solution so that fleet managers can establish a safer driver network, protecting the safety of their employees and members of the public," says Richard Brown, managing director of Licence Check Ltd.
"Our new solution rapidly profiles the risk of drivers, flagging them as high, medium or low risk. This is highly valuable for fleet managers, as it identifies the drivers that need further support and training. Fleet managers have the opportunity to tailor the support and training provided for their 'at risk' drivers, rather than adopting a one-size-fits-all approach."
