Suzuki Swift pricing information announced

Date: 27 April 2017   |   Author: Daniel Puddicombe

Suzuki has confirmed its all-new Swift supermini will cost from £10,999 when it arrives in the UK in June.

The new model is powered by an 89hp 1.2-litre petrol which returns 65.7mpg and emits 98g/km of CO2 and a more powerful 109hp 1.0-litre petrol three-cylinder engine which emits 104g/km of CO2 and returns 61.1mpg.

The entry-level - SZ3 - model is offered as standard with aircon, a leather steering wheel, DAB radio with Bluetooth, rear privacy glass, LED daytime running lights and front electric windows.

Meanwhile, SZ-T variants are equipped with a rear-view camera, smartphone link display, larger alloy wheels (16-inch compared with the standard model's 15-inch wheels) and front fog lights.

Top-of-the-range SZ5 models add automatic air conditioning, sat-nav, front parking sensors, keyless entry and rear electric windows.

In addition, the Japanese manufacturer claimed the Swift offers better residual values than many of its competitors. Citing statistics from valuations giant Cap HPI, Suzuki said SZ3 models are forecast to retain 41% of their value after three years/60,000 miles while SZ-T would variants retain 39% of their value over the same period of time.
