Vauxhall launches top-of-the-range trim for new Grandland X

Date: 04 December 2017

Hot on the heels of the launch of the new Grandland X SUV, Vauxhall has introduced a new top-of-the-range variant to the line-up.

The new Ultimate trim level, which is also available on the popular Mokka X and Crossland X models, is available to order now for the Grandland X, priced from £33,995, and also debuts a new 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

This latest engine offers 177hp and 400Nm of torque, helping the Grandland X to achieve 0-62mph in under nine seconds and a top speed of 133mph, while also emitting official CO2 emissions of 128g/km and fuel economy of 57.6mpg combined.

In terms of kit, the new Ultimate trim level adds 19in alloy wheels, automatic cruise control, a premium sound system, black roof and door mirrors, sports pedals, heated steering wheel, 360-degree camera and an LED Adaptive Forward Lighting Pack with projector headlights.

The Vauxhall Grandland X SUV is the third member of its X-branded family, slotting in at the top of the range above the entry-level Crossland X and mid-range Mokka X, and competes with the likes of the Nissan Qashqai. Seat Ateca and Peugeot 3008. Order books opened in the autumn.
