Boardroom changes after Vehicle Consulting co-founder retires

Date: 15 January 2018   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Contract hire and leasing provider Vehicle Consulting has named a new managing director, after one of the firm's co-founders announced his retirement.

Co-owner Lee Wolstenholme takes the helm following the departure of Simeon Briggs, who led the business for nearly two decades, with steady growth from the outset.

Briggs, 56, is known for his involvement in various charitable and community organisations, as well as his passions for walking, photography, cars and his hometown football team, Bradford City.

Wolstenholme will become more involved with Vehicle Consulting's fleet operations, as well as shaping the brokerage's overall strategy and success. He is joined at board level by incumbent business development manager Craig Davy, who has also been part of the business from the start, and will play a key role in leading significant current and future projects to completion.

Wolstenholme said: "With a number of our team having been with us for a considerable time, Simeon's retirement for personal reasons is a very poignant moment for many of the Vehicle Consulting family.

"Each one of us wishes Simeon the very best for the future and is keen to continue growing the business he founded and has been instrumental in building.

"For our clients, suppliers and other stakeholders it is very much 'business as usual' for Vehicle Consulting and I am looking forward to working ever more closely with Craig in taking our firm to the next level."
