CBVC names new fleet manager

Date: 24 September 2018   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Fleet management and leasing company CBVC has appointed Elliot Southerton as fleet manager.

Southerton has joined the company from Interserve, where he rose to the position of group fleet operations manager in three years, managing more than 4,500 vehicles.

He is said to have gained a breadth of industry knowledge and experience that will be required in his new role, which Southerton will combine with the latest developments and technological advancements, to optimise clients' fleets.

Southerton said: "This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a business which is at the forefront of the industry implementing the latest in fleet technology and strategy.

"Part of the difficulty of large corporate conglomerates are the many hoops you're required to jump through to implement even the smallest of changes - not something that is a problem by utilising the outsourced fleet management solution offered by CBVC.

"I'm excited about using CBVC's extensive solutions to develop bespoke fleet packages for businesses of all sizes, and very impressed at their desire to always go the extra mile to help customers."

CNVC managing director Mike Manners said: "Elliot will be a real asset to the business. Despite being relatively new to the industry he comes with strong fleet management experience.

"He has gained valuable insight into what does and doesn't work in a rapidly changing business environment and will utilise his fleet knowledge and financial acumen to deliver effective cost savings.

"His input will assist all our clients in achieving cost savings and control, vital when fleet is often the second largest expense to a business."
