Dekra announces deal to buy Gain Solutions

Vehicle testing and compliance firm Dekra has acquired Gain Solutions, a specialist with almost 20 years of experience in end-of-term inspections and fleet management.
Gain Solutions offers vehicle inspections, fleet management, used car coaching and training throughout the UK.
Customers include major OEMs, banks and leasing companies.
Dekra says the acquisition consolidates its position in the end-of-term appraisals and technical inspections market.
Gain Solutions co-founder and chairman Robin Watson and managing director Marcus Blakemore will remain in place.
Dekra Automotive managing director Paul Bradbury said: "This acquisition significantly expands our capacity to perform independent vehicle inspections in the UK, for a client base that is increasingly interested in the transparency of neutral vehicle inspections."
Clemens Klinke, who is a member of the management board, technical director and head of business unit for Dekra Automotive said: "Dekra is the world's largest vehicle inspections company and this acquisition is another step in our strategy to offer the full range of Dekra's global services in the UK."
