Ford has revealed more details of sports driving features available with the upcoming Fiesta ST hot hatchback.
Among the options is a mechanical limited-slip differential - available for the first time with a Fiesta ST - and a launch control system for consistently fast standing starts during track driving.
The new car also comes with force vectoring suspension springs, which Ford says deliver a sharper turn-in and responsiveness.
As previously announced, the new Fiesta ST - the third generation of the model - is powered by a 1.5-litre three-cylinder engine developing 200hp.
Ford says the car will accelerate from 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds, while delivering CO2 emissions 11% lower than the previous generation's ST200 model, with the engine featuring a cylinder-deactivation system for improved efficiency.
The new Fiesta ST comes with selectable driving modes, configuring the engine, steering and stability controls to Normal, Sport and Track settings.
The car also has Ford's Sync 3 communications and entertainment system operated via a standard 6.5in or optional 8in screen.
Standard driver assistance technologies include lane keeping aid, lane keeping alert and cruise control with adjustable speed limiter, while features including rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, auto-highbeam and traffic sign recognition are also available.
Prices and an on-sale date are yet to be confirmed.
