Land Rover Discovery Sport Landmark revealed

Date: 30 May 2018   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Land Rover has announced a new special edition version of its Discovery Sport.

The Landmark is designed to recognise the Discovery Sport's status as the fastest-selling Land Rover of all time.

Fitted with a 180hp diesel engine, it is available in Narvik Black, Corris Grey or Yulong White, all paired with a Carpathian Grey contrast roof.

The Landmark also comes with a restyled front bumper, Graphite Atlas exterior accents and 19in wheels.

The interior features Ebony grained leather seats and an Ebony headliner, along with dark grey aluminium finishers around the centre stack, a panoramic roof, a Meridian sound system and a heated steering wheel.

The Landmark is on sale now, priced at £40,400.

Land Rover has also announced that all Discovery Sports, including those with petrol engines, are now equipped with particulate filters to help reduce emissions.

The close-coupled filters are integrated into the car's after-treatment system and trap soot as exhaust gas passes through them.

Under normal driving conditions, the trapped soot will be oxidised into CO2 and the filter regenerated whenever the driver lifts off the accelerator.
