The start point for the best source of fleet information

Nexus unveils new management information features

Date: 25 April 2018   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Nexus Vehicle Rental has launched a new management information suite within its rental booking and management system, Iris.

The new suite provides clients with previously unavailable bespoke data, allowing them to easily identify trends.

An interactive dashboard shows clients a snapshot of their rental profile, including the number of bookings, vehicles on rent and rental durations, in addition to top delivery locations, popular vehicle groups and fuel types.

The platform also highlights the number of out-of-hours and one-way rentals to identify avoidable costs.

All figures are comparable to the previous user-defined period and can now be filtered by date to help identify trends down to specific driver profiles and highlight variances.

Nexus says that insight into individual driver compliances - including data on fuel, mileage costs and fines incurred, the number of damage claims and their historical value - means management users can easily spot driver issues.

The suite highlights the number of claims invalidated by Nexus and consequential savings, while Nexus' driver text messaging facility reminds drivers to check for damage, refuel, sign paperwork and make keys available - all designed to reduce avoidable costs.

Nexus CEO David Brennan said: "Our new management information suite is extremely responsive, enables customers to monitor Nexus' service level performance transparently and ensures we are meeting our service level agreements, providing data on booking satisfaction and information on the number of deliveries and collections that are on time.

"I'm proud to say that we operate a 'no turndown' promise and in the last two years have achieved a 99% customer satisfaction rate.

"Customers are able to access key billing data through the portal, including total rental cost, the number of invoices received and billing accuracy.

"In the last year, more than 99% of Nexus invoices were correct first time and 98% of invoices were produced within three days of off hire as a result of our innovative software."
