Peugeot launches GT Line Premium trim for 3008 and 5008

Date: 13 February 2018   |   Author: Sean Keywood

Peugeot has introduced a new trim option for its 3008 and 5008 SUVs.

Sitting between the mid-range GT Line and range-topping GT trims, GT Line Premium offers drivers features including keyless entry, a foot-operated electric tailgate and a panoramic glass roof.

There are heated seats for the driver and front passenger, and the driver's seat also comes with a massage function. GT Line Premium cars also come with 19in, two-tone alloy wheels.

Prices start at £28,590 for the 3008 and £30,565 for the 5008, both with a 130hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine. There are five engine options in total, ranging up to a 150hp 2.0-litre diesel.

Peugeot says the new trim level offers extra equipment worth £2,720 for a price premium over the GT Line of £2,125 on the 3008 and £1,850 on the 5008.

The new models are available to order now.

Peugeot UK marketing director Mark Pickles said: "From what we have seen of the impressive sales to date and recognition at industry awards, people are attracted by the diversity and quality of both the Peugeot 3008 SUV and all-new 5008 SUV.

"The broad range of features available on these two models has made them the astounding success they are and we want to ensure any customer can experience that.

"By adding an all-new trim level that incorporates some of the most popular features at a competitive price - and with a host of engine choices available - we're confident that the GT Line Premium will be a real crowd-pleaser for 2018."
