Suzuki has announced a facelift for its Vitara SUV.
The changes in the new model start under the bonnet, where 1.0-litre 111hp and 1.4-litre 140hp petrol engines are available, replacing the previous 1.6-litre petrol unit.
The 1.0-litre engine will be fitted to cars in SZ4 and SZ-T trim - with four-wheel drive available as an option on SZ-T cars - while the 1.4-litre will come with SZ5 trim.
Exterior design changes include a redesigned front grille and bumper, revised rear lights and new alloy wheel designs.
On the inside, there's a redesigned instrument cluster with a colour central information display, and new soft-touch material for the upper instrument panel.
Suzuki has also announced improvements to the amount of safety equipment fitted as standard to range-topping SZ5 Vitaras. These changes include dual-sensor brake support, lane departure warning and prevention, traffic sign recognition, blindspot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert.
The revised Vitara is set to go on sale in September.
Suzuki says prices, along with fuel economy and emissions figures, will be announced closer to the launch date.
