The firm, which already works with the likes of Sommerfield and Zenith, is talking to various top leasing companies and hopes to secure contracts in the coming months. Autoquake claims 5% higher returns than traditional disposal routes by selling direct to customers through its website www.autoquake.co.uk. The site gives a detailed description of the car and condition, including up to 70 photos.
The firm this year took on Masterlease’s 1400-car site in Birmingham, adding to the 150-car Bradford operation. “Over time we’ll probably expand to the south as well,” said marketing vice president Natalie Mead. “It feels like we’re on the tipping point between a big and small company.”
