Aon films for safety

Insurance giant Aon has joined forces with driver safety firm Smart Drive to offer fleets a video monitoring system for van drivers.

The system uses two cameras, one to film the driver, and one capturing the road ahead.

Smart Drive has already been operating in the UK for 18 months before the Aon deal and has seen a 50% reduction in accidents with its customers.

The system costs approximately £25 per vehicle per month based on a 100-strong fleet.
