Vauxhall Insignia estate debuts at Paris

Date: 03 October 2008

Vauxhall revealed the estate version of the Insignia to the public for the first time at this week's Paris motor show.

The estate range mirrors that of the hatch and saloon in terms of engines and trims. However, the estate costs £1250 more than the equivalent saloon or hatch giving a starting price of £17,185 for the 1.8-litre petrol Exclusiv model.

The estate has a boot space of 540 litres with the rear seats in place (20 litres more than the hatch), rising to 1510 with the seats folded.

The Vauxhall Insignia estate will go on sale in early 2009.
