Mitsubishi will show off a "baby Outlander" at the Frankfurt motor show next week.
Although the CX is being billed as a concept car, Mitsubishi has a recent history of bringing concepts to production.
The CX also highlights a host of green technologies including a Euro5 compliant 1.8 diesel and lightweight components.
