The novelty of a dash that provides an array of multi-coloured feedback on driving style hasn't, as I thought it might, worn off. Quite the opposite: the Insight is spurring me on to be more economical.
Naturally, I travel everywhere with the 'econ' button on. And at the end of each trip, I look to see whether the row of plants that reflect how I've driven have grown or shed leaves. The display that's having most influence, however, is the digital speedo. It's like having your own green-driving instructor, which frowns, by turning blue, when you press a bit too hard on the gas.
