Our Fleet Test Drive: Audi A4 - 4th Report

Temperature

While the A4 is a quality piece of transportation, it is not without fault.

Take adjusting the temperature. The well-weighted dial clicks pleasantly around the notches, with the digital readout showing where the climate control is now set to, to the nearest half a degree.

So why does the system also need to take over the satnav/radio screen every time you adjust the temperature?

Admittedly, it's a minor niggle, but it should have been ironed out in the development process. However, I'm told the adapted climate system on the new Q5 4x4 doesn't do this any more, so at least Audi has got there in the end.
