BYD has confirmed UK specs and prices for the Atto 2, its new compact electric SUV.
The model is available with a choice of Boost and Comfort equipment grades.
The Boost grade features a 51.1kWh battery, allowing a combined range of up to 214 miles, with 82kW DC charging capability allowing a 30-80% charge in 30 minutes.
The Comfort grade comes with a 64.8kWh battery, with a combined range of up to 261 miles, and 155kW DC charging capability allowing a 30-80% charge in 21 minutes.
Standard equipment with the Atto 2 includes a 12.8in rotating touchscreen, wireless smartphone charging, and eight-speaker audio system, ‘Hi BYD’ intelligent voice control, and vehicle-to-load functionality.
Prices are £30,850 for Boost spec, and £34,950 for Comfort. Orders are open now, with the first deliveries of Boost models scheduled for next month, and the first Comfort cars due later this year.
