Kia has unveiled an updated version of its Stonic small SUV.
The model has been restyled in line with Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, and is 25mm longer than the pre-facelift version thanks to resculpted front and rear bumpers. Other design changes include the introduction of Kia’s ‘star map’ signature lighting, more prominent and structured front and lower grilles, and an updated front fender, while at the rear there’s a new tailgate layout, tail light signature, an updated skid plate, and a revised rear bumper.
Inside, there’s a new panoramic dual display layout featuring a pair of 12.3in screens. Other new features include USB-C fast charging ports, wireless smartphone charging, and ambient lighting.
New driver assistance systems include blind-spot collision avoidance assist, safe exit warning, improved forward collision avoidance assist, navigation-based smart cruise control, highway driving assist and lane following assist.
Engine options are a 100hp petrol and a 115hp mild hybrid, both available with either six-speed manual or seven-speed dual clutch automatic transmission.
UK specs and prices are yet to be confirmed.
