The start point for the best source of fleet information

Best upper medium car - BMW 3-series

Date: 24 January 2007

BMW 3-series

Not only has the BMW 3-series scooped the BusinessCar Award for upper medium car for the third time running but it also became BusinessCar's first five-star car when we drove the 325d.

BMW seems unable to put a foot wrong in the company car arena. In the same way that the Mini appeals to both drivers and those running fleets the 3-series has excellent resale values, vital to fleets, thanks to high demand in the private market. Running costs are good, too, and the driving experience is excellent.

And all this comes from a top-10 selling car, which shows that you can have high sales without hurting RVs.

Best of all, BMW now has an amazing choice of engines and body styles that cater to all tastes. If you want a quick diesel estate then there's the aforementioned 325d in Touring form, and if you want a blisteringly quick diesel estate you can have a 330d Touring.

Why would you pick anything else?
