The start point for the best source of fleet information

Awards 2010 - Upper Medium: BMW 3-series

Date: 26 January 2010

Back on top of its class after a two-year break, the BMW 3-series is so much part of the company car scene it's almost a currency.

The 3-series is one of the select group of vehicles any serious player in the upper medium market will benchmark against. But few even come close to the combination of low costs, great efficiency and driver involvement.

Not content to rest on its laurels, BMW is working to make the already efficient 3-series (you can buy one capable of 62.8mpg and at 118g/km CO2) even more efficient. A 109g/km 320ed is on the way to fleets this year, so businesses will be able to benefit from the best 100% capital allowance tax band.

The 3-series is one of the handful of cars BusinessCar has given full 10/10 marks to and not just for the entry point to the range, but also to the more powerful diesel models, which offer both performance and efficiency.

The 3-series is a car fleets can't go wrong with.
