After winning its first telematics prize in 2009, TomTom Business Solutions has now retained its title for the third consecutive year.
TomTom's fleet offering is intended to offer a total user experience that combines the latest navigation innovations with ease of use and cutting-edge telematics technology, says Giles Margerison, sales director of TomTom Business Solutions (above).
"We ensure our business solutions are future-ready, make a positive contribution to an operation's bottom line and give rapid return on investment," he said. "This is backed up by a customer support team that is dedicated to ensuring our system meets requirements, right the way through to quickly handling any queries when the system is up and running."
In 2010, TomTom revised its product range to allow for routing technology advancements and launched three new products including Ecoplus, which enables real-time monitoring and "offers fleet managers a cost-effective tool for reducing mileage costs and CO2 emissions". With growth of 40% last year, Margerison says the company will maintain this momentum in 2011 with "signification expansion plans in place". These include doubling the sales team and the recent launch of a new website.
He added: "TomTom is also acutely aware of the need to support and encourage fleets' greener safer driving practises and will continue to develop its offering in this area."
