BusinessCar Awards 2013 - Windscreens: Autoglass

Industry giant Autoglass has made it a dozen consecutive category wins in the 2013 BusinessCar Awards as our best windscreen repair and replacement provider. The firm, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2012, plans to channel its efforts into prevention rather than cure, monitoring fleet customers' screens that have already developed cracks and damage before they have the chance to turn nasty.

National sales manager Jeremy Rochfort told BusinessCar: "Our Repair First philosophy and Free Fleet Chip Check service identifies chips before they turn into costly repairs, and with continued investment in our fleet service, our mission is to drive down service time, reducing vehicle downtime for UK businesses." The company reckons that this approach will cut the cost of glass claims and ultimately save businesses extra money by reducing downtime for affected vehicles.

Rochfort continued: "This year we will continue to grow, with further new partnerships, investing in service, technology and new product innovations including a wet-weather solution to add to our 24/7 service."

The firm also launched a new chip-repair resin last year, which it describes as "the strongest in the market".
