The BusinessCar Interview: Tim Porter, Lex Autolease

Tim Porter

Porter was appointed as Managing director of Lex Autolease in July 2013.

Prior to joining Lex, he was managing director of the small and medium enterprise banking teams within Lex Autolease's parent Lloyds Bank, responsible for the bank's industry sector strategies in agriculture, healthcare, legal, property, education and manufacturing.

  Porter is also a member of the North West Advisory Board for Business in the Community and a trustee on its national board. For the five years prior to joining Lex, he was also chairman and director of the Agricultural Mortgage Corporation PLC. He has worked in business and finance for more than
20 years and prior to joining the bank was a regional director of biotech firm Genus plc.

He is a Chartered Banker and MBA graduate. Away from work, his interests include countryside affairs, cycling and rugby. He is married with two children and lives near Stroud in Gloucestershire.
