Enterprise has now racked up seven consecutive titles in BusinessCar’s Daily Rental category.
Since its 2013 victory, the firm has introduced seven-day opening at a large proportion of its sites, sprouted new sites at London train stations, and has continued to help public sector organisations by coaxing them out of traditionally inefficient grey fleet.
Business rental director Adrian Bewley said: “A lot of companies and public bodies have moved away from mileage reimbursement. The key is to get employees engaged, so they understand the aims.”
He added that the firm intends to up its locations and increase flexibility for corporate operators this year.
“We’ve also continued focusing on growing our UK branch network. This is because the convenience and responsiveness that comes from having a branch nearby is vital for the business rental market, with its ad hoc and often last-minute needs.
“Traditional ‘daily rental’ is still the core of the industry for now, but providers are having to be a lot more flexible in the range of products and services that they offer. That’s only going to increase over time.”
