It’s a return to the winners’ circle for AA Drivetech, snatching back the risk management award it lost to Zurich Risk Services in 2013, and the success is demonstrative of the ambition shown by the risk management arm of the famous motoring brand.
Drivetech sits within The AA’s Driving Services operation alongside AA Driving School, BSM, Intelligent Data Systems and fellow risk management brand Peak Performance, as well as Dutch work-related road risk brand VVCR that The AA took on earlier this month.
The company, acquired by The AA in 2009, and its online risk management portal Fleet Risk Manager offer a range of services, such as driver licence checks, while the firm also provides audit, validation, assessment and training information.
It has been through a period of acquisition, having bought Peak Performance in October 2012 to add to Nationwide 4×4 it took on in January 2012 and Intelligent Data System, which it acquired in August 2011.
